Instructions for Ordering Food from this Site
Either you are a new customer or you have choosed a login ID and password in your previous vis
1. New Customers
After entering your postcode you will see a list of restaurant which are available in your area. Click on a restaurant and order your food, then you will be asked for detail contact information. Please be as thorough and accurate as you can be in this section because the better the details you supply, the easier it is to find you when we deliver your food and the easier it is to contact you if the need arises.
When you have completed registering, click on the `Proceed to Checkout' button at the bottom of the screen and you will now see the Checkout page. Your contact information and `Delivery Details' are there on that page and you can click on `Send Order Now!' to submit your order.
2. Registered Customers
First enter your login name and password and click the `Enter' button near the password box. Your `Personal Details' page should then be displayed for you to double check and modify if appropriate (click on `submit' button when finished).
3. Restaurants
As mentioned earlier, after entering your postcode you will see a list of restaurant. This page will tell you which restaurants are available in your area for you to order from and the times they are open (on the actual night which you are ordering on). Some restaurants may have `Closed on ...days' next to them indicating that they are not open for orders on the night in question. Most cuisines in our book are usually offered by more than one restaurant so if `your' restaurant is shut for the night then please try an alternative selection (or in the case of there being only one restaurant offering the cuisine you seek - try an alternative cuisine!)
On the bottom of the page you will see some information on delivery charges and fees which apply your delivery. For more detail on these charges, please see the `About Us' page, accessible from our Home Page. To view a restaurant's menu, click on it's name and you should find yourself on the `Menu Items' page from which you can select your food.
N.B. If an `Temporary Closed' message comes up on the screen, this is due to a particularly large demand for deliveries in your area at the time of your ordering. We sometimes find it necessary to stop taking orders for that area for some period of time until any backlog of orders already made can be processed. We do apologies for any inconvenience if this happens and recommend that you try back again approximately 20-30 minutes after this.
4. Menu Items
Items are ordered by placing a number in the `Qty' (quantity) box next to every item you wish to order. Prices for each item are displayed below this and a total for your order is displayed on the next screen after ALL items have been selected and the `Proceed' button clicked.
N.B. At the bottom of this screen is a box labelled `Special Requirements' . This should be used for any specifications you may have for a given dish or dishes eg. no anchovies on a pizza etc. It is very important that you make a reference to the item number (in the red boxes to the left of the dish names) of the dish(es) you wish to alter or define. This box should also be used to `link' possibly disparate elements of a dish together:
When you have selected the items you want, click on the `Submit' button just below the `Special Requirements' box at the bottom of the page.
After submitting your order you will see the preliminary invoice. You can change the quantity of any items of your order and see the calculated total price. When you are happy with your order, click on the `Proceed' button, check your order and address/contact details again and finally send it to us. Whew! - that wasn't so difficult was it?
